Solid right. I think its really good. Drum beat is equally good too. A classic, transformed into classic rock. Better than the piano version of it, I must add.
Okay, nuff of that. Now, it is time to tell you about the Hollaback Crew Event yesterday. Another show filled with talents both above and below 17. I was late, but the only thing I missed was the introduction. Had no more seats thus I had to sit upstairs, which in turn had a better view. Moreover, I met the M&S Crew sitting right infront on the top row. Well, at least I get to see them like there. Okay, back to the starting. Got settled down, found seats and not long later. The performances started. Really good. Mixture of percussion, drums, guitar, rap and cheerleading or dance. Overall, all of them were very very good. I was a fan of Street Fusion upon seeing their performances, NTU'S Seven and B2D. They were really talented. Nobody could beat Street Fusion. Their dance steps were fantastic, very synchronised(however you spell it), up to beat, rapper - IS JOEY!!!! OMG. I couldnt believe he could rap like a rapper. Others like SCGS, St Nicks, Whitley and Mis-tiq, were not bad too. Some were rather dumb though, nursery rhymes? Nonetheless, we were entertained. So that was good enough. The percussions were like, empty pails, water bottles, beat boxers, poles, and all those recycled materials. The mixture of the percussions and all stated above were a must have in this competition. So all is good. Various performed and we deduced that Street Fusion, Seven and B2D would win. True enough they won for the above 17 category. B2D came in 3rd, Seven 2nd and STREET FUSION 1ST!!! Superb. They wach won like 2,000, 4,000 and 10,000 respectively. Best percussion was B2D, best rapper -JOEY, best videographer - street fusion and best banner was.. okay, I cant remember. But its was one of the above stated.
After which was The Click Five gig. It was fantastic. Took coupla photos and videos. Will upload them like soon. Faces cant really be seen as it was quite far away. Yup. that was about it. Rushed to church after that and had Easter Virgil for 3 hours. We were really hungry as it was like so late already. But mass already started so we couldnt go for dinner. Stayed till the end. Didnt go Kelly's place as it was rather late and I wanted to eat. So some went home.
